Bilo Grocery Store in Chattanooga/
my name is Erika Blackmon and I wrote a check to Bilo on Ringgold Rd in East Ridge TN in 2008 after my checking account with Bank of America was compromised to the point that my debit card was canceled and as a mistake my actual account was frozen.....causing the headache of this check in the amount of $ 37.99 to be returned as a NSF...I called the bank and asked them about this and was assured that it was covered. I made no attempt after that from the bank.....then I get a letter from the District attorney's office asking for payment to be sent to merchant. I called Bank again and again was told that it was paid. I waited a week or 2 and called Bilo Check recovery and was told that it was already sent as a warrant. I was told to call Rena Card and gladly did so.....she was very rude...she spoke to me as it I was a true criminal..I told Mrs. Card of my issue as it pertains to my Banking account being frozen. Mrs. Card did not care at all. I went ahead a sent a money order and in a weeks time it was returned stating that it was a warrant. Now in 2011, Detective Jimmy Clift from the fugitive divison of the Chatt Police department came to my home to serve the warrant. I was not there so n this past Sunday I turned myself in only to wait in the police department for 2 hours for the police to actually find my crime. In the last couple days I have learned and met 4 others with the exact same scenario down to the same time frame. I am embarrassed and pissed!!!!

Poor customer service
etowah tennessee. BiLo used to be a nice place to shop, however, in the past few years all name brand products I used to purchase there have been replaced with house name products, and they are BAD in my opinion. Im tired of spending my money on a product I cant eat and know nothing about. The other reason I no longer shop there is due to their poor customer service, I can never get help.BILO wake up. I drive sixty miles every weekend to shop at Publix rather than give our local store my money. I get good service there and they seem happy to have my business.

Bi-Lo Out of Date Food
Last Saturday I bought a pint of P.J. Madison's organic ice cream that was on sale at Bi Lo. On Monday evening tried eating some of it, tasted bad. Looked at the bottom of the container and the expiration date was August 22, 2009. Yes 2009! Took the ice cream back on Tuesday, Bi-Lo apologized, refunded my money. Four days later I am back in the same store (located in Columbia, SC corner of Saint Andrews/Piney Grove) and the ice cream is still on the shelf. Manager said he was surprised items were still on the shelf. I made a mistake, check the expiration dates of the items you are purchasing. Now, do I continue to shop at this location or go to another grocery store in the area?

Customer service
Elberton Bilo (10/31/08). The black boy who was cashiering was so loud on register 4 and the black girl that was on register 5 was going right along with him. The poor black girl that was on number 6 looked as if she was having a very bad day. I was checked out on register 6. I had very good customer service from her. I didn't get her name. I guess her facial expression was from watching how the other crowd was caring on a work. Something needs to be done. I sure hope the next time I come in the store he's not working. As far as the fuel perks....WOW ... BIG Scam!!!
Ditto I now shop elsewhere because of poor customer service and poor products!
I will add Bilo is running a SCAM with their fuel perks. You might think you have earned fuel perks and when you try to use them you don;t have any.
Don't sign up for this its a SCAM that only benifits BILO. I am through with Bilo.
Fuel perks are great if you know how to use them. One card per household, use card and not phone number when you shop, they give you 3 months before they expire and they tell you on your receipt if you have anything expiring.
The system works if you understand how to use it. I get free gas all the tine.
